Food & Drink
Sotogrande covers both ends of the scale, often within ten minutes of each other. The marina and Ribera del Marlin handle the smart end, with waterfront terraces and menus worth dressing for, while Torreguadiaro keeps things barefoot with beachfront chiringuitos and espetos off the fire. Inland, Guadiaro, Pueblo Nuevo and San Enrique are where the tapas bars, bakeries and menú del día lunches live, and San Roque and Castellar add a few ventas worth the drive. Being in Cádiz province does the rest, with local seafood, retinto beef and a sherry list that tends to punch above its weight.
